Aviv married Jessica Pitt *another alumnus* in 2003, had their first child, Julia Leah on 5/26/2005. Aviv attended Yale PA School 99-2001 and is now working as a Pediatric Physician Assistant at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore Medical Center. (2005) |

After graduating in 1980, Jeff moved to Atlanta, GA for two
years, working in computers and getting his Master's degree at Georgia
State Unviersity. Jeff then got married to (Leslie Becker, '80), and moved to California. There they spent six months in Huntington Beach, and then 9.5 years in Corona. While there he worked a lot. He was a volunteer (sworn) deputy sheriff for the Orange County Sheriff's Department in their Search-Rescue unit (doing most of their first aid and CPR training, including running drills for the unit), and went back to school to get his Ph.D. in Educational Administration. Jeff moved to Bloomington, Illinois in 1990 when he became an Assistant Professor (teaching educational research and technology courses) at Illinois State University. He spent the next ten years at ISU, getting promoted to Full Professor along the way, then moved up to Sycamore, IL in 2000 when he got a new job as the Chair of the Department of Educational Technology, Research and Assessment at Northern Illinois University. He has been here since. In March of 1998 Leslie gave birth to their one (and only) child - Rachel Julia Hecht. (2006) |
