Spring 2001:
Purchase of 2001 Ford E450 Wheeled Coach Type III. Vehicle 7621 (121). This vehicle was dedicated to Christine McHugh, an active member of the squad before her graduation from Binghamton University in 1995. McHugh died in the fall of 2000 in an automobile accident. A plaque honoring McHugh was mounted inside the ambulance.

Winter 2004:
Broome County changed the numbering of EMS agencies. Harpur's Ferry is now 76. Drivers and CC's are now numbered instead of using last names. Below is the list of Broome County ambulance agencies numbers and Harpur's Ferry's new numbering. 20's are ambulances, 50's are fly cars and 60's are misc. vehicles.

Harpur's Ferry stays in service over the complete summer for the first time. The squad is now in service 24/7/365.
Fall 2005:
Purchase of 2005 Ford Expedition to replace 1994 Ford Explorer. Vehicle 7652.

Harpur's Ferry was awarded the 2005 NY State EMS Agency Of The Year at the 2005 Vital Signs Conference in Rochester, NY.
Fall 2005:
Implemented a radio repeater system. Repeaters added to all 4 vehicles and the library tower. As well as replaced all our portable radios with 50 brand new HT750's.
Fall 2005:
Purchase of John Deere Gator with MedBed. To be known as 7661, this equipment will be used for the many sporting events held throughout the year on the Binghamton University fields, any incident where transport is needed out of the nature preserve and mutual-aid to Broome County's Search Team. The Gator will be transported using an enclosed trailer and pulled by 7652.
